LET’S clear a FEW things UP

Questions you probably have

  • Therapy is a clinical process. A therapist typically gives you a diagnosis and a treatment plan - mostly because therapy is a regulated health service. It’s designed to help you work through mental health symptoms, patterns, and deep emotional healing.

    Therapy-ish is different.

Therapy-ish is not mental health treatment. It’s support that focuses on clarity, communication skills, boundaries, emotional insight, and practical strategies for your everyday life. There’s no diagnosis, no treatment plan, and no formal clinical record. It’s more flexible, and conversation-based. Perfect if you want support, guidance, and growth without the red tape of traditional therapy.

  • Therapy-ish is available worldwide via secure tele-health platform

  • I am independently licensed to provide therapy in Texas and Idaho. Which means that I can provide therapy to clients who are located in Texas or Idaho at the time of the session.

  • No, of course not! I’m loyal.

  • No, bi-weekly services are also available

Long-term clients sometimes opt for sessions every three weeks or monthly for monthly. (Not an option for clients I have seen less than 6 months)

  • This is the legal name of my business and the original name of my private practice. I am now DBA or (Doing Business As) Planted Abroad

  • The Jacksonville Jaguars!

  • Yes. I no longer work with clients under 16 years old. This is a personal preference and it’s nothing against the young people I promise.

I don’t work with clients who need intense trauma treatment (i.e. clients diagnosed with PTSD or CPTSD)

I don’t work with couples who are experiencing domestic violence in their relationship

Other than this, I do see most clients but it’s about more than my criteria. It’s also about best fit. We can use the free consultation process to determine if this is a good fit for both of us. No strings attached!
